All You Need to Know About Pumpkin Soup Varieties

Pumpkin soup can be made with many variations. While you may not think of many off the top of your head, there are many ways to approach this meal besides the classic creamed soup. Easy recipes include a honey roasted pumpkin soup, which is made from pumpkin, onions and garlic drizzled with honey before roasting. It is simple and delicious.

Another easy pumpkin soup variation to try is pumpkin and cheese. This is a simple soup you can make using canned pumpkin puree. Simply add in your ingredients like spices, cream, broth, brown sugar and some grated cheddar cheese. Serve this soup with some fresh rolls or melt some grated cheese on top until it is bubbly and delicious.

Another twist on classic pumpkin soup adds real maple syrup to the soup as well as some Marsala wine. The rich flavors blend together, creating an incredible meal. Be sure and use real maple syrup... the imitation syrups just will not have the same effect on the soup.

You can also change the flavor of your soup by trying a new cuisine. Take your basic pumpkin soup and change the spices. Before you know it, you will have a Mexican, a Thai, a Haitian, or a Jamaican soup instead. While they all started with the same base, the spices will prevail, changing the flavor and making a new soup.

If you want something more exotic, try corn pumpkin crab soup. This soup is creamy, yet it contains crab, corn, cayenne pepper, paprika, and nutmeg. The creaminess comes from a good dose of heavy cream. If you do not want the cream, leave it out. A little dried dill adds a tang to the final result. Either way, the soup is delicious and a bit unusual. Your family will love it. If you want, serve it as an appetizer to an Asian meal.

You can also add specialty ingredients to vary your pumpkin soup. Bacon adds a lot of flavor for a savory soup, while chocolate makes a delightful dessert soup. If you like spice, add some peppers, curry or other hot spices to add some zest to your soup. Mix up sausage and peanut butter with your pumpkin soup for a very delicious, distinctive flavor you will not soon forget. This fast recipe can be put together quickly when you do not have much time.

Ingredients you traditionally associate with fall like apples are often added to pumpkin soup. You can use other winter squashes like butternut or acorn in your soup. Even sweet potatoes will add a new twist, adding their own sweetness and texture. Do not be afraid to use herbs to create different flavor blends in your soup. In the hot days of summer, try a chilled pumpkin soup that will help your guests cool down admirably.

No matter what changes you make to your pumpkin soup, you will be eating a delicious, rich soup that will fill you up. The velvety texture feels good in the mouth and the cream gives you a satisfying taste. Even if you do not have a lot of time you can make pumpkin soup. Simply make it in the crockpot and let it cook while you are busy.

Making a pumpkin curry soup is super simple. All you need to do is find the recipe that appeals to you most, add the ingredients and simmer it. That's it! It might take you ten minutes. This is a fast easy soup that anyone can make and it will taste like a gourmet meal. Find loads of ideas at: http://www.PumpkinSoup.org

Don't you love diversity in America??
I never appreciated it until I moved to Korea to join a research team where finding a decent foreign food is impossible sometimes . I remmember how I took everthing for granted back home .I could walk down the road to grab a mouth watering TACO . Just cross the street was an Indian resturant serving the best chicken CURRY .I could go for a bowl of Jamaican soup on a cold winter day .And now finding any of these is like finding water in desert . I was reading the articles about Neo-Nazi in Russia killing a Nigerian student . It really digusted me.I can't believe how ignornet people could be .. It might sound stupid but if there was no Jew there was no BAGEL ..If there was no black , there was no hip hop or ragge music how can we enjoy other culture's food and use other counrties' products and technologies and hate them .. Why we just can't get along

what is this soup called?
Its a Jamaican soup Im assuming because someone Jamaican made it a while ago for me. My memory is so bad IM trying to remember all the stuff in it, I think it had (I dont know what this is called) some type of fluffy chewy white looking animal part in it. I think it was tripe or something that looked alot like it. I dont really remember the other stuff specifically in it. The tripe looking stuff doesnt taste good but i guess it gives it the flavour and it was so delicious. Do you have any idea what this soup is called Id like to learn how to make it.
